Zscaler is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for a hybrid capacity-based role in Bangalore, reporting to the Director of Software Engineering. The engineer will lead the design and delivery of major security product capabilities, own complex technical initiatives, shape architecture, investigate reliability issues, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and research teams. The role requires foundational AI/ML knowledge, 3–4 years of software-engineering experience, expertise in systems engineering or related areas, proficiency in Go, Rust, and Python, and experience managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
