PayPal is hiring a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to lead engineering efforts and team processes for consumer-facing mobile applications. The role owns software design, implementation, testing, delivery, and operations; advises senior leaders; mentors junior engineers; and contributes to technical standards, roadmaps, and quality. It requires 8+ years of mobile development experience, strong Kotlin and asynchronous programming skills, GraphQL and REST API knowledge, testing expertise, and familiarity with design patterns such as MVC and MVVM. The position is based in San Jose, California, or Austin, Texas, with a balanced hybrid work model and annual base pay ranging from $130,500 to $212,850 depending on location.
