Description
Apple is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Camera Software team to design and ship production-quality automated validation systems for camera software. The role combines software engineering, AI/ML, agentic systems, multimodal vision, robotic device automation, and test orchestration to improve defect detection, release throughput, and the reliability of camera testing across Apple devices. Responsibilities include architectural design, automated capture-path validation, AI-assisted failure triage, flaky-test remediation, cross-functional alignment, and engineering mentorship. The position requires at least 8 years of software engineering and architecture experience, 2+ years of hands-on AI/ML and agentic technology experience, strong test automation expertise, hardware-validation experience, and programming skills in Python, Swift, Objective-C, or C++.
