ACI Worldwide is hiring a Senior Software Engineer focused on Mainframe and COBOL development for its Card & Merchant Management engineering team in Pune. The role involves designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting mission-critical payment processing applications; working with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and IBM Mainframe technologies; troubleshooting production incidents; participating in Agile and architecture activities; and applying AI-assisted engineering tools. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least 8 years of software development experience, strong COBOL and Mainframe expertise, and experience with high-volume transaction processing. The position is full-time, requires work authorization in India, and does not offer visa sponsorship.
