Description
Mastercam is hiring a Software Engineer to develop algorithms that improve the efficiency and quality of toolpath motion for milling machines. The role involves solving complex mathematical problems, building algorithms for hardware performance, and producing clean, well-documented software. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering and 10–14 years of commercial software development experience in C# or C++. Preferred qualifications include experience with CNC machining, GPGPU or SIMD code, parallel C++ design patterns, computational physics, 3/5-axis machining algorithms, mesh processing, and FEM-based machining.
