Sinch is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale Chatlayer’s conversational AI platform. The role focuses on backend services, WebSocket and real-time communication infrastructure, platform integrations, distributed systems, identity management, and production reliability. Responsibilities include architectural evolution, code reviews, mentoring, on-call support, and improving system health. Candidates need at least five years of professional software engineering experience, proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript and/or Go, and experience with real-time systems, cloud infrastructure, microservices, distributed systems, databases, and APIs. The position offers annual compensation of €60,000–€80,000 in Spain and monthly compensation of 60,000–75,000 SEK in Sweden.
