Verisk is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its distributed software-development team in Málaga, Spain. The role covers the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, deployment, maintenance, and collaboration with developers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders. The engineer will also mentor junior team members, provide technical leadership, and contribute to improving development practices. The position requires at least 8 years of software development and system maintenance experience, extensive .NET web technology experience, familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, and strong communication and ownership skills.
