PayPal is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for Venmo's Cloud Network & Routing team to design, build, and operate cloud network and routing infrastructure across AWS. The role covers VPCs, transit gateways, load balancers, service mesh, CDN, WAF, ingress, reverse proxy, networking incidents, infrastructure-as-code, on-call support, and operational documentation. It requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience, with 5+ years of software development experience and 3+ years of hands-on cloud networking experience, along with experience in CDN, WAF, service mesh, reverse proxy, containers, and scripting. The position offers a balanced hybrid model and visa sponsorship is not available.
