Carbon Robotics is hiring a Sr. Software Engineer, Embedded Systems to build firmware and embedded software for its LaserWeeding and other AI and robotics products. The role involves developing and troubleshooting microcontroller firmware, designing PCB validation methods, investigating low-level control problems, tuning systems, and leading problem-solving efforts. Candidates need at least five years of embedded C experience, motor-control expertise, knowledge of embedded architectures and communication interfaces, RTOS experience, debugging skills, and a BS+ in a relevant field. The position is based in the United States, requires travel of up to 25%, and offers a base salary of $220,000–$250,000 USD plus benefits.
