Microsoft is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Microsoft 365 Routing team to design, implement, operate, and improve globally distributed routing services. The role owns architecture and end-to-end delivery, builds resilient microservices, improves availability and latency, handles production incidents, collaborates across engineering and security teams, and applies AI and agentic engineering techniques. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field plus at least four years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience; security screening is also required.
