Description
Microsoft is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for Work IQ, the Microsoft 365 Copilot workplace intelligence platform. The role owns the design and development of Work IQ’s REST and A2A APIs, MCP infrastructure, retrieval and orchestration services, and developer tooling. Responsibilities include setting technical and quality standards, building reliable terminal experiences, using data and user feedback to guide iteration, collaborating across teams, and influencing architecture and engineering standards. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least four years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, additional years of experience, production generative AI or agentic systems experience, customer-facing developer interface experience, product ownership, systems design, and evaluation experience.
