The Senior Backend Engineer will lead architecture and implementation of complex Node.js and TypeScript backend services and Next.js API routes, including authentication, authorization, caching, messaging, database design, performance optimization, testing, and CI/CD governance. The role provides technical leadership and mentoring to the Node sub-team and requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least seven years of professional software development experience, and strong backend expertise. The position is fully remote for candidates in Eastern or Central time zones, with an in-person interview at the Dallas headquarters.
