SpaceX is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Security (Starship) to design and build security infrastructure for Starship vehicles, pads, operator interfaces, and communications links. The role covers authentication, encryption, identity management, secure boot, code hardening, hardware security modules, application and network security, backend services, and secure software development practices. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree and 4+ years of software development experience, or 6+ years of professional experience in lieu of a degree, plus 4+ years of experience with C++, Python, or Rust.
