Description
Angel Studios is hiring a Backend Software Engineer to own and operate its streaming backend, including encoding, adaptive bitrate ladders, dynamic HLS manifest delivery, and related systems. The role requires 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years as a senior software engineer or equivalent, along with expertise in Elixir/Phoenix, GraphQL, REST, Protobuf, HTTPs, RabbitMQ, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, S3, Postgres, Redis, Datadog, and DevOps practices. The position is regular full-time at 40 hours per week, requires United States work authorization, and offers a salary of $120,000-$165,000.
