Proofpoint is hiring a full-stack software engineer to build and maintain full-stack applications and backend services using Python, TypeScript, React, and Go. The role also owns large SQL databases, improves reliability and observability, collaborates with threat intelligence stakeholders, and manages AWS infrastructure. Required qualifications include production Python experience, PostgreSQL experience, and hands-on AWS infrastructure management; FastAPI, ClickHouse, knowledge graphs, and modern CLI/TUI tooling are preferred. The role offers a flexible work environment and a three-week Work from Anywhere option, with base pay ranging from 124,100 to 244,200 USD depending on the U.S. market.
