Amazon is hiring a LEO MAC Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test embedded firmware for ground networks and satellites in Project LEO. The role focuses on Kuiper-MAC firmware components, real-time embedded environments, performance optimization, RTOS and bare-metal profiling, and firmware-hardware interfaces. Candidates need at least five years of professional software development, programming, system design or architecture, mentoring or engineering leadership, debugging and profiling experience, and familiarity with relevant broadband wireless standards.
