Description
Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is hiring a Software Engineer to develop mission-critical in-vehicle applications for the Rivian R1 and future vehicle lines. The role focuses on creating reliable user interfaces, integrating 2D and 3D content, testing applications in laboratories and prototype vehicles, troubleshooting issues, researching new technologies, and collaborating with UX/UI, Studio, and other divisions. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, at least 8 years of software development lifecycle experience, and 7+ years of experience with C++, Rust, Java, or Kotlin, along with Android application framework and Android Automotive Operating System experience.
