Description

ServiceNow is hiring a Sr Staff Cloud Architect to lead enterprise-scale cloud architecture initiatives across private datacenters, sovereign cloud, and public cloud environments. The role focuses on cloud and hardware architecture, technology evaluation, performance and cost optimization, root-cause analysis, and research and development for infrastructure supporting large-scale applications, databases, customer analytics, fleet telemetry, and AI workloads. Candidates need extensive experience in datacenter technologies, Linux and database performance, major cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and complex transformation initiatives, along with a relevant bachelor's, master's, or PhD qualification. Base pay is $190,900 to $334,100 plus equity, variable compensation, and benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, an 8-year experience path with a master's degree, a PhD with 5 years of experience, or equivalent experience.
Required Previous Experiences: 12 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, or 8 years with a master's degree, or 5 years with a PhD, or equivalent experience.
10+ years evaluating, cost-modeling, and implementing datacenter technologies, including managing multi-vendor RFPs.
10+ years profiling and evaluating Linux and database performance.
7+ years hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
3+ years with Kubernetes and containerized infrastructure at production scale.
Experience leading complex transformation initiatives across multiple organization units.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
Thought leadership and mentoring with a proven force-multiplier impact.
