Description
Yalo is hiring a Sr. Staff Data Engineer to own the data platform supporting analytics, dashboards, and AI agents. The role defines the architecture, semantic and annotated data layers, data governance, stage ownership, and technical standards; maintains 99.9% pipeline uptime; leads incident response; and mentors engineers across teams. It requires 8+ years of data or analytics engineering experience, including significant staff-level technical ownership, along with expertise in Airflow, dbt, BigQuery, Kafka, GCP, Python, SQL, infrastructure-as-code, streaming pipelines, and data governance. The role is hybrid, with Córdoba preferred and Guatemala City, São Paulo, and Mexico City also open.
