Description
Renesas is hiring a Senior Staff Engineer for its General Purpose Microcontroller Design and Architecture team. The role leads the full lifecycle of MCU subsystems, including specification, RTL implementation, physical synthesis, and chip-level verification for RISC-V and ARM Cortex-M platforms. Responsibilities include translating PRDs into detailed specifications, coding in Verilog and SystemVerilog, developing UVM test environments, debugging across IP, MCU, and SoC levels, performing synthesis and technology checks, and integrating peripherals and AMBA interconnects. The position requires strong MCU, processor, bus, CDC, EDA, and verification expertise.
