Description
Gigamon is hiring a Sr. Staff Hardware Engineer to design and develop next-generation hardware platforms for traffic aggregation and deep network observability. The role owns board-level architecture, digital circuit design, CPLD/glue logic, bring-up, validation, component qualification, system integration, compliance testing, and sustaining support, while coordinating with mechanical, software, product, manufacturing, and JDM/ODM/OEM partners. Candidates need a BS in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent practical experience, at least 10 years of design experience in networking, embedded, or optical products, and expertise in high-speed boards, signal and power integrity, on-board power regulation, Verilog RTL, and hardware validation. The role is hybrid and offers a base salary of $184,000–$230,000 plus standard employee benefits.
