Description
Coupang is hiring an internal Sr. Staff Machine Learning Engineer to own and evolve its recommendation systems, including ranking, retrieval, relevance modeling, feature engineering, model training, experimentation, and deployment. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least 8 years of applied AI/ML experience, cross-functional technical leadership, Python or Java proficiency, and English communication skills. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, recommendation or search systems experience, LLM and embedding model experience, cloud platform experience, and experience with large-scale online serving systems.
