Lucid is hiring a Perception Machine Learning Algorithm Engineer for its ADAS/Autonomous Driving team. The role focuses on developing, optimizing, deploying, and validating deep learning perception algorithms for autonomous driving systems using camera, LiDAR, radar, and inertial sensor data. Responsibilities include object detection, segmentation, tracking, multi-task learning, BEV-based transformer models, sensor fusion, evaluation pipelines, and production deployment. Candidates need strong deep learning, Python, PyTorch, ONNX, and TensorRT expertise, along with at least three years of relevant experience or a related Ph.D., and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
