Description
Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is hiring a Senior Staff RF Systems Engineer to serve as the technical anchor for wireless systems across 5G/Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, UWB, GNSS, and V2X in radio-centric automotive ECUs. The role covers RF product design, simulation, prototyping, silicon evaluation, global regulatory homologation, carrier certification, validation strategy, test automation, root-cause escalation, and cross-functional leadership. It is a hands-on individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Engineering Manager, with three days onsite in Palo Alto, and requires a relevant engineering degree plus 10+ years of RF design, test, and certification experience.
