ServiceNow is hiring a Sr Staff Software Engineer (IC5) to own significant technical domains and critical platform capabilities, including reliable, scalable, secure, and distributed platform architecture. The role is AI-native, requiring the use of LLMs, coding agents, and agentic workflows across the software development lifecycle, while also leading cross-team initiatives, establishing engineering standards, and mentoring IC1–IC4 engineers. Candidates need 11+ years of software or platform experience, a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience, and strong expertise in distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and languages such as Python, Golang, Java, or C++.
