Description
Cerebras Systems is hiring a Staff Engineer for its Inference Platform team to lead production software, distributed systems architecture, Kubernetes operators, service security, CI/CD, observability, reliability, and incident response. The role involves shaping technical direction, making high-consequence architectural decisions, solving critical production issues, and influencing senior engineers and cross-functional partners. Candidates need at least 8 years of software engineering experience, substantial individual-contributor experience with large-scale distributed systems or cloud infrastructure, expertise in distributed systems and backend or systems languages such as Go or C++, and experience with security, latency optimization, and SLO-driven operations. Preferred locations are Sunnyvale or Toronto.
