ServiceNow is hiring a Backend Infrastructure Engineer to build and improve core infrastructure services and microservices supporting machine learning, frontend, and platform teams. The role focuses on distributed configuration management, rate limiting, feature flags, A/B testing, traffic capture and replay, performance, scalability, observability, and end-to-end feature ownership. Candidates need 12+ years of backend distributed systems experience, familiarity with Java, Python, Golang, or C++, experience with containers and cloud infrastructure, and a BS in computer science or a related field.
