LinkedIn is hiring a hybrid Infrastructure Software Engineer in Bangalore, India, to build and operate next-generation infrastructure and platforms at extreme scale. The role covers application and service delivery platforms, data storage and replication, search, AI, experimentation, privacy and compliance systems, and related distributed technologies. Responsibilities include delivering scalable software, providing architectural guidance and mentorship, improving engineering craftsmanship, designing reusable systems, leading architecture and implementation efforts, influencing product and technology roadmaps, resolving organizational conflicts, and sharing knowledge. The position requires a computer science or related degree or equivalent practical experience, 14+ years of software design, development, and algorithm-related experience, extensive experience with object-oriented and functional programming languages, hands-on distributed-systems and backend-API experience, and at least 5 years in technical leadership.
