Description
The Senior Supplier Quality Engineer will oversee supplier quality assurance, implement quality control and corrective actions, conduct audits, develop quality documentation, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across Lycoming Engines’ supply chain. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related aeronautical technical field, at least five years of relevant manufacturing, assembly, quality, engineering, or procurement experience, and knowledge of AS9100, FAA requirements, Six Sigma, PPAP, SPC, Lean Manufacturing, and Value Stream Mapping. The position may require travel to suppliers 50–75% of the time.
