Description
The Senior Systems and Development Analyst independently conducts systems analysis, creates specifications, develops, tests, implements, and maintains complex applications, interfaces, operating systems, and file or database servers. The role provides technical support, investigates problems, applies software patches and upgrades, supports client/server and web applications, evaluates vendor products, and advises on application feasibility and enhancements. It also requires research, project-planning input, guidance of other analysts, and availability for periodic on-call responsibilities. The position requires a bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science, or a related technical field or equivalent experience, plus six or more years of systems analysis or software application development experience, along with advanced knowledge of programming, relational databases, information technology, and COTS integration.
