Intuitive Surgical is hiring a Systems Analyst to develop and verify robotic algorithms and controls for the Ion Endoluminal System, a minimally invasive biopsy platform. The role applies control theory, dynamic modeling, experimentation, software integration, debugging, and test infrastructure to teleoperated motion control and electromechanical systems, while collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, and design teams. Candidates should have experience with servo control, serial-arm robot kinematics, C/C++ and Matlab, and hardware and software integration; a PhD in a relevant field is preferred, while an MS with 8+ years of relevant experience may also be considered.
