Description
AWS is hiring a senior engineer to own the health and reliability of critical AWS software systems, respond to operational events, and build automation and tooling that reduces operational toil across complex distributed systems. The role spans the full lifecycle of software development and operations, collaborates across compute, security, storage, and other capability pillars, contributes to architectural decisions, mentors engineers, and improves operational best practices. Applicants must be Australian citizens or eligible for an Australian Government Security Clearance, complete an Organisational Suitability Assessment, and have substantial experience with Linux/Unix, systems development, distributed systems, programming, and production software solutions.
