Description
Helion is hiring a Sr Systems Engineer to own the architecture and top-level requirements for its fusion power plant, spanning the fusion machine, balance of plant, and connecting systems. The role decomposes plant-level objectives into traceable subsystem requirements, leads trade studies and interface control documents, drives design reviews and verification planning, manages integration risks and configuration changes, and represents the plant's technical position across electrical, mechanical, controls, science, business, and software teams. The position requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant engineering field and at least 8 years of systems engineering experience.
