Description
The Senior Systems Engineer provides analysis and planning for electric utility distribution systems, maintains GPS/GIS and other technical databases, supports the Engineering Department, and leads communications, SCADA, fiber, metering, substations, and power-quality systems. The role also supervises Engineering Technicians, manages budgets and construction plans, coordinates with contractors and consulting firms, and performs engineering design and technical studies. It requires an Electrical Engineering degree, at least ten years of experience, a valid Arkansas Professional Engineering License, and extensive knowledge of utility operations, networks, cybersecurity, and related regulations.
