Description
The Systems and Infrastructure Engineer designs, implements, and operates enterprise cloud and on-premise platforms, including Kubernetes/OpenShift, Linux, networking, storage, backup, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and ArgoCD. The role leads high-availability and disaster-recovery infrastructure, develops automation and APIs, supports production systems, and provides technical leadership and mentorship. It requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least five years of systems, infrastructure, or DevOps experience, and strong Kubernetes/OpenShift and Linux skills. The position is on-site at CSX corporate headquarters and includes a rotating on-call schedule.
