Description

Amazon is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of storage servers across its global fleet. The role coordinates hardware, firmware, software, and ODM partners; manages NPI gates, manufacturing readiness, production yield, supply chain continuity, fleet reliability, and feed-forward requirements; and establishes dashboards and quality mechanisms to track risks and improvements. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science discipline, at least six years of technical product or program management experience, and six years of hardware development program experience. The position is based in Denver, Colorado, with a base salary of 148,700 to 201,200 USD annually.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent
Required Previous Experiences: 6+ years of technical product or program management experience working directly with multiple engineering teams
6+ years of experience driving hardware development programs through the full product lifecycle, including design, validation, manufacturing, and fleet deployment
Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
5+ years coordinating complex server programs with ODM/JDM partners across multiple geographies
5+ years working with storage server platforms or NVMe/SSD infrastructure across NPI qualification phases
Experience driving root cause analysis and corrective action processes for fleet-scale hardware reliability issues
Knowledge of the server hardware development lifecycle, including electrical and mechanical design, firmware, thermal and power validation, and manufacturing testing
Experience driving zero-touch automation or fleet health programs for large-scale infrastructure
Experience communicating engineering trade-offs and technical risks in business terms to leadership
