Lucid is hiring a Senior Technical Specialist – Polymer Technology to lead an internal polymer technology team and support plastics expertise from concept through product launch. The role covers material vetting, selection, qualification, design optimization, testing, DFM, process simulation, tooling, process improvements, standardization, and technology demonstrators. It requires a bachelor’s degree in polymer engineering, material science, or a related field, at least 10 years of automotive vehicle materials and tooling experience, and hands-on plastic injection molding and secondary-process experience. The position offers a base annual salary of $203,900–$298,980 USD and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
