Fairwinds Technologies is hiring a Senior Technical Writer to support a major airborne communications modernization program for military surveillance and command-and-control aircraft. The role develops and maintains technical publications, manuals, maintenance procedures, software documentation, technical orders, interface and airworthiness documentation, and integrated logistics support materials across the aircraft system lifecycle. It requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline, at least 9 years of technical writing experience, and 5+ years supporting avionics, aerospace, military aircraft, or defense programs. The position is full-time, remote, and requires an active Secret Security Clearance and eligibility to work in the United States.
