Renesas Electronics is hiring a Senior Test Equipment Engineer to own equipment strategy, reliability, automation, continuous improvement, and projects affecting productivity, quality, and profitability in semiconductor test operations. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, improving OEE, troubleshooting equipment failures, developing preventive maintenance and technical documentation, and improving manufacturing efficiency through software, scripting, and equipment integration. Candidates need an engineering degree, semiconductor test equipment experience, root cause analysis skills, and familiarity with ATE testers, handlers, or load boards; experience with Advantest M4841 handlers and Teradyne J750 testers is preferred.
