AECOM is hiring a Sr. Traction Power Engineer for its World Class Rail Systems Team in the New York, NY office. The role serves as a technical lead for electrified-railway traction power projects, preparing design drawings, specifications, cost estimates, proposals, calculations, studies, and related documentation for AC and DC systems. Responsibilities include guiding engineers, performing protective relay settings and coordination studies, ensuring compliance with railway and electrical standards, conducting site investigations, and traveling nationally. The position requires an electrical engineering or related bachelor's degree, six years of traction power design experience, a professional engineering license, and experience with substations, third-rail and overhead distribution systems, relaying, rectifiers, and SCADA. Relocation and visa sponsorship are unavailable.
