Description
The Transportation Planner supports the Gainesville & Alachua Transportation Planning Organization by developing multimodal transportation plans, studies, and projects; coordinating with federal, state, regional, and local agencies; analyzing transportation performance data; preparing planning documents, reports, and grant applications; and assisting with public engagement. The role requires a master’s degree in planning, transportation planning, urban planning, or a related field plus one year of professional-level planning experience or equivalent training and experience, along with strong communication, analytical, GIS, and grant-management skills.
