Description
SpaceX is hiring a Senior Welding Engineer to support the manufacturing and development of Falcon 9, Starship, Dragon, and Starlink products. The role develops, qualifies, and optimizes welding processes and designs; supports production and root-cause analysis; interprets mechanical testing and nondestructive evaluation results; improves process control; and develops automated welding solutions. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least five years of hands-on fabrication, manufacturing, or testing experience with welded assemblies. The position offers a Level 3 base salary of $135,000 to $190,000, medical, vision, and dental coverage, and may require travel to SpaceX facilities in Texas and Washington state.
