SSAB is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer in Oxelösund to develop machines and facilities for metallurgy and engineering, working from concept through commissioned solutions. The role covers mechanical design, technical calculations, risk assessments, procurement, cost estimates, drawing review, documentation, continuous improvement, and technical support to operations and maintenance. Candidates need a Master of Science or Bachelor of Science in engineering related to mechanical design, mechanical engineering, or a related field, along with Swedish and English language skills; machine-design, hydraulics, and industry or production experience are advantageous.
