KIOXIA America, Inc. is hiring an SSD Debug Engineer to triage and debug failures in its data center SSD product line. The role involves root-cause analysis across host, transport, firmware, and media; cross-functional debugging with firmware, platform, and customer teams; analysis of telemetry, logs, and firmware traces; development of debug firmware in C; troubleshooting performance issues; lab replication; and preparation of 8D reports and technical white papers. The position requires a BS or MS degree in computer engineering or an equivalent field, at least 8–10 years of technical experience, NVMe and PCIe debugging expertise, SSD firmware knowledge, and experience with storage, telemetry, and open-source SSD tools.
