PMAT is hiring an SSDS Technical Operator to operate, configure, activate, test, and troubleshoot the U.S. Navy's Ship Self Defense System aboard the Self Defense Test Ship in Wallops Island, Virginia. The role supports developmental and operational testing, brings combat systems from cold iron to operational readiness, coordinates with government and contractor teams, documents system performance, and provides technical feedback. It requires an active Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, at least 10 years of SSDS platform experience, and 4 years leading technical or tactical operators; the position is onsite with less than 10% travel.
