Description
Optiver is seeking an experienced SSO Floor Trader to lead its presence across U.S. options exchange trading floors. The role makes markets in eligible equity, ETF, and index options; represents the firm with floor brokers, DPMs/LMMs, and exchange personnel; tracks exchange rules and incentives; partners with desk and institutional traders to improve quoting and execution; facilitates complex trades; and monitors KPIs and compliance. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, strong mathematical and communication skills, relationship-building ability, and at least three years of experience in options trading, market making, floor brokerage, or exchange operations. Preferred qualifications include listed options market-making experience, an active Series 57, and existing floor broker and market-maker relationships.
