Description
The Stabilization Specialist provides crisis prevention and stabilization services to persons with developmental disabilities experiencing emotional, behavioral, and social disorders. The role responds to referrals, delivers direct crisis services, develops action plans, conducts on-site observations, collaborates with families and community agencies, maintains clinical records, and provides training in behavioral strategies and adaptive skills. It is primarily an indoor-office and community-based position requiring travel, flexible hours, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to handle high-stress situations.
