Description
The Stabilization Operations Operator supports the safe and efficient operation of stabilization pits, baghouses, reagent silos, and ancillary equipment at a Veolia stabilization and landfill ecosystem. Responsibilities include equipment inspections, startup and shutdown, housekeeping, spill response, lockout/tagout, reagent handling, pit cleanouts, compliance checks, and coordination with maintenance and contractors. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of equipment operations or six months of heavy equipment operations, 40-hour HAZWOPER training, and the ability to pass a respirator fit test; three years of process operations experience is preferred.
