Description
The Nevada Department of Transportation is recruiting a Staff 2, Associate Engineer for its Traffic Operations Division in Carson City, Nevada. The role develops and reviews traffic signal, lighting, intelligent transportation systems, pavement, bridge, construction, and environmental plans and specifications; coordinates projects with other divisions and agencies; conducts inspections and technical reviews; and prepares engineering reports. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related field and two years of professional engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and must work toward professional engineer licensure or perform advanced engineering work under limited supervision.
