Description
The Staff Accountant prepares and analyzes financial reports and tax returns for individuals and companies, maintains and audits financial records, oversees budgets and financial management, performs bookkeeping and audit-related duties, recommends tax planning and savings, prepares tax returns, analyzes account errors and overspending, reports financial information to management, and advises on compensation, benefits, and asset protection. The role requires 0–3 years of public accounting experience, a BA/BS in Accounting or a related field, CPA certification or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam, accounting software and Microsoft Office proficiency, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. It is an onsite position with flexible scheduling and remote work as necessary, requiring regular same-day travel to client facilities and meetings.
